The cheats!
Well, here I am. The first person to find actual cheats in Halo Reach.
These are the cheats the developers and Bungie didn’t want you to know about….
First off, is the unlock all armor (Spartan)
On the main menu push A, B, Y, A, Y, B, B, X, spin the right joystick clockwise once, now on the d-pad push DOWN, UP, A.
You should hear a release of air, that sounds like a cryotube opening, if you did not hear it you did not do the code fast enough, or correctly.
Now the unlock all campaign levels.
On the first playable level in the campaign when the video starts hold LEFT on the left joystick. Then when you are walking against a wall or whatever is blocking you (just make sure you hold left and are not moving) push….
Y, X, A, X, B, LEFT (D-pad) DOWN, UP, LEFT, LEFT TRIGGER, RIGHT TRIGGER A, B, B
You should again hear a release of air, that sounds like a cryotube opening, if you did not hear it you did not do the code fast enough, or correctly.
Next to unlock 999,999,999 credits..
You will have to be on the last level of the campaign.
Once there, hold LEFT TRIGGER, and RIGHT BUMPER. Then continue to type in this code….
On the D-pad, UP, DOWN, LEFT, LEFT, UP, DOWN, LEFT, DOWN, UP, DOWN, A, A, Y, X, X, X, Y, X
You should hear for the third time a release of air, that sounds like a cryotube opening, if you did not hear it you did not do the code fast enough, or correctly.
Now for another cheat I know.
Unlock all Elite Armor
On the main menu press these buttons…
CLICK IN THE LEFT JOYSTICK TWICE, THEN CLICK THE RIGHT JOYSTICK, COUNTER CLOCKWISE ON THE RIGHT, THEN PRESS RIGHT, A, X, Y, DOWN, LEFT, Y, X, Y, RIGHT, DOWN, UP.
You should hear once again the release of air, that sounds like a cryotube opening, if you did not hear it you did not do the code fast enough, or correctly.
Now for the last and final cheat code i know, Infinite ammo.
In game (not matchmaking) type in the following code...
(D-pad) UP, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN, RIGHT, LEFT, DOWN, Y, X, A, X, A, DOWN, UP, RIGHT, RIGHT, DOWN, UP, Y, X, RIGHT BUMPER, LEFT TRIGGER, START.

If you are seeing any trouble with these codes don’t blame me.
I have tested and made sure all of these work, you will not find these codes anywhere else because I believe I am the first to find them. My uncle helped design the maps for this game so he told me these codes. He was not supposed to reveal these to any one but since he did I shall share them to you all. These codes work and have been tested, although they do not get you the achievements for beating the game or finding the skulls. But they work and if you cannot get them to work, simply reset your X-box 360 and try them again.
I do not take credit or responsibility for any achievement blocks that may occur after completing and accomplishing these cheats.
These cheats are for fun and these cheats are to help you advance in the game and look cool.
Note that the unlock all armor cheats do not unlock the fire helmets.

I'm positive they all work, i have tested them and everyone i know who has tried said they work.

Are you at the main menu? that seems to be the mistake most people are making, that and they are not pushing it quick enough

So do you have any other useful tips? I have already done the thing on the level ONI Swordbasee with the target locator
Do Score Attack and get all your comendations. Crash site gets rocket kills, sniper fight precision, gruntpocalypse gets infintry, headshots, precision, multikills, and grenade kills. in all of these it takes about 10 minutes and you get 1200 credits plus all the comendations which are worth it.
After you get the commendations you stop getting a bunch of credits.
why does stuff have to be patched? and how did you find out about these?
My uncle Luke works for Bungie, he said they put in some cheats as a test to see how it would effect gameplay and then they were dissatisfied and removed them.

Lol, he can't do stuff like that, thats a different area, they work out all the difficulties and abuse of the game, my uncle just helped program halo. He helped code NightFall, he basically manged the Invisable Elites and what they do and how they react. He can't un-ban an account.
On forge, just staying in the game a couple of hours will get YOU a lot of CR depending on how long you keep the XBOX on.
I got promoted to major just by doing that.
On the level "New Alexandria" there's a button. If you push it, go through a ring at the edge of the map. Once you go through you get a pelican if you're in a falcon and a phantom if your in a banshee.
NOTE:requires 2 people
Look at my file share, spartanrocker70, Waldos pelicans. There is footage or 'proof' that it works.

Go to the system blade and then select memory.
Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?
Keep in mind that this method will also clear out all software updates, but it’s worth that cost. After you clear things out, you’ll experience far less issues when it comes to the system crashing or screens freezing. If anyone knows of a better method, feel free to drop a comment below. It’s easy to forget that sometimes your system may need a little extra maintenance to keep it running smoothly.

They were patched get over it just go on nightfAll web a any game mode in reach challenge pops up. Then assassinate the elite till u get it B. Hit revert to keep gettin the challenge credits

if it really works you should be able to go into your system and deleat the patch and do it off line. then reconnect and redownload the updates.

ATTENTION: these codes got patched stop asking if they work or not!!!!! Jeez! Btw does any one if you can reset your achievements for halo reach???
they work just remove the updates via memory reset thing then input the codes offline to your online profile.then sign in on live and it will do updates etc but youll now have the whatever cheats you put in offline for use online. yes it was patched but yes it still works!

Listen guys it's SO easy to get these to work, all you gotta do is clear your XBOX360's updates. And after that you can't do anything online UNLESS you wanna get banned. So there ya go, the ALL work even if they are patched. Now you heard the REAL solution. Now stop fighting and clear your updates, 'cause on I did they all worked. So try my method. :)

Well i tried to contact him sorry i was off don't you think it's a bit suspicous that he was the first person to have cheats for two games that are massly played. I tried the cheats myself don't trust him you would have to click into different menus to get the cheat. earlier on he said it shouldn't change screens which is not possible sorry about my belief in this cheat.
I looked through his hubs he took down one of his 3 cheat pages he can't have been the first person to find these cheats THEY ARE FAKE. ALL OF THEM!! He could have gone back in and had his own commensts because it's as easy as what i am doing.
I know a way to get like 4000 CR at a time or even more.Go on forge 4 like an hour or two then exit & you will get TONS of CR.It depends on how long you are on to how many CR you get.so you can leave it for a long time then when you get off you will get TONS of CR.I tested it & it works.:-)

Ok the cheats work you just have to delete everything off of your Harddrive and reboot Reach. Do the cheats and you should get what you desired.

Good finds and kudos to you for these codes. The unlock all Spartan Armor to be viewable and unlock all campaign level codes worked. The 999,999,999 cR. code did not work, although it did unlocked all offline challenges instead, which is still nice. I have not tested the unlock all Elite armor or infinite ammo codes, so I cannot vouch for them.
